Supervision

Supervision is an essential and necessary part of the work that we do and is requirement for accreditation with the main accrediting bodies in the UK such as the UKCP, the BACP, COSRT and IMAGO UK.

In my supervision with you my aim is to provide a ‘safe place’ where worries, concerns, mistakes, failures, and successes can be discussed in an open and non-judgemental way.  Together, we will explore your work with your client’s material…and your own when it relates to transference or countertransference.

I offer support, encouragement and expertise and will challenge you, when appropriate and, with your agreement, we’ll use creative techniques such as drawing, creative visualisation and role-play to facilitate that exploration.
